Warrant Of Fitness (WOF)

Legally, to operate your vehicle on public roads, you must have your vehicle inspected for a Warrant of Fitness (WOF) and maintain it at the WOF standard in between inspections.

This includes cars, station wagons, vans and 4WD vehicles, as well as mopeds, motorcycles and similar vehicles. A WOF check is also required for light trailers, including boat trailers.

We have professional, unbiased inspectors on hand to take care of all your WOF requirements, this includes inspection of all the vehicles mentioned above as well as carrying out interim safety checks to ensure your vehicle is still kept to a legal and safe standard between WOF inspections.

Service Work

The service interval for most vehicles is every 10,000kms or 6 months. Manufacturer recommendations do vary but it important to remember that New Zealand roads and conditions are harsh compared to many other countries. A well serviced vehicle is a safe and reliable vehicle.

 

Diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical faults

There are numerous systems in a modern vehicle that can give trouble. We have invested heavily in training our staff and providing them with the equipment to be able to diagnose and repair these systems.

If your car is behaving incorrectly, not driving the way should or bringing up one or more warning lights, we believe we are the right people to sort this out for you.

Correct diagnosis, clear communication through the diagnostic process and honest quotation of repair work required is a point of difference we pride ourselves in.

 

Air Conditioning System Servicing

For all our Air-conditioning service work we use the BOSCH ACS650 Fully Automatic Air-Conditioning Machine. It's a big investment on our part, but high standards of reliability, precision and environmental compatibility must be met whenever work is done on automotive air conditioning systems.

By utilizing a fully automated closed loop system, we can ensure we use the correct amount of gas and oil is in the system, maximizing reliability and efficiency. This system also allows us to efficiently recycle our refrigerant gases these compounds are harmful to the environment when they are not recycled or disposed of correctly .

As well as top quality Air-conditioning system service work we can diagnose any problems you may be having, from mechanical faults, to refrigerant leaks or electrical issues.

Logbook Servicing

A service log book, provided by your vehicles manufacturer, specifies the service intervals and what tasks must be carried out at each service. Logbooks can also be provided by aftermarket warranty company's and insurers.

For all vehicles with a service log book we:

• Use only lubricants and parts that are of equal or better quality then those originally fitted to the vehicle.
• Use genuine parts when requested.
• Complete the logbook service as specified by the manufacturer or warranty provider
• Have the scan tools and software to access the cars computer, clearing any service reminders and accessing maintenance related data in the cars computers as required.
• Stamp and fill out the logbook.
